Need help: difference between particle and parcel

Now I am confused in the difference between particle and parcel. I want to know wether the 'p' in dpm is point to particle or parcel.

'p' is a pointer on a particle.
I think, when using the DPM model, you cannot confuse particles and parcels. (instead maybe if you are using DEM collision model or breakup/coallescence)

Best,

Mat
