Hi everyone,
I am trying to run a simulation with a Porous Jump in it and get this error which I do not understand: Error: set_polynomial:wta[car] float Error Object: inf The simulation is just a transient simulation of a porous jump (face permeability set to 0) run with k-w SST turbulence model. The mesh is imported from ICEM CFD and has had no issue being run before. Thanks for any help! Matt |

I solved it by loading a new mesh I built that was exactly the same...
However, the error could also be caused if your permeability coefficient is set to 0 I think too. Look at the fluent equation for the pressure jump create by the porous jump. I haven't used fluent in a while |
