I tried to simulate the plasma arc welding process, I found MHD module iperfectly suits my need, but haven't worked out anything yet, all the variables in user defined memory are zeroes.

I would be very very grateful if anyone can share a successfully worked MHD module example

yeah,i had ,or i should say I hadn't
cause it just can not solve that kind of problem.
Now I am trying to solve it in old way with UDF and UDS,luckily,it is a 2-D module.

well, I mean i need it to work in this way:
put a current in the middle, and it generates a magnetic field, then put the Lorenzo force in the momentum equations as source term.
Maybe it can do that, but I failed to discover how

Did you use VOF model together?

Do you have induced magnetic field in your model?

Do you mean you have a existing current, which is intended to induce a magnetic field?
May I know your model in detail?
