Hey!

I am solving a heated plate- liquid cooling problem with pin-fins over the plate. To ensure the energy interaction between the solid and liquid parts, I made interfaces with the coupled option checked. I am able to get acceptable results for velocity(streamline) and pressure. While, in the thermal analysis, I was expecting that the liquid and the solid surface which are in contact will have exactly the same temperature profile, but I could not get. kindly, tell me how do I ensure that. Or, what is the proper way to approach such forced convection problems.

Are you saying that you want to have the temperature of the fluid close to the wall equal to the temperature of the wall? In that case, you would have to use an adiabatic BC on the wall. I don't think you want to do that though because you are solving a fin problem :]

Your setup is probably right as is if you have coupled BC'ss on the walls.
