power calculation for mixing tanks

I need to define the power input and power number for mixing tank filled with water. But I dont know how to do postprocess to define it. Please let me know which features of Fluent should be used for the prediction of power number and power consumption.
Looking forward to hearing from u guys :)

Hi mr atila
At the first u have to calculate torque. In fluent: report- force- moments
and power equale 2ΠN(rad/sec) M(N.M)
P0(power number)= P(w)/(density*N^3*D^5)

Total moments only for impeller walls; take care if you have periodic domain; for example if you have 90 degree periodic model you have to multiply the power by a factor of 4, to obtain the full impeller power.

Tnx Daniel
I solved this with complete 3D domain. So, Just would you please let me know which numbers could be used for power measurement.

Hi
I got some slides or pdf I'm not sure yet, regarding the measurement of important parameters such as power number in stirred tanks. Contact me via mail:
aboozar.azarafza@gmail.com
I might be able to find them and sending you.
