Hello everybody,

first of all, I'd like to thank all who helped me (even directly or indirectly) to reach this stage of getting results after two months of starting using ANSYS ICEM and FLUENT.

Now ... I have more than one thousand runs ... on FLUENT

36 airfoils
4 values of Re
7 values of AOA

I need to save time, effort, and avoid errors in repeating 1008 runs settings ...

are there any way to put these runs in a loop?

select geometry file ... apply the 4 inlet velocity values ... for each velocity apply the 7 AOAs ... save case and data ... print Cl, Cd, Cm, Cp, and Cf ...
select the next geometry file .......

or I am dreaming?

I hope not to be dreaming ...

thanks in advance
Best Regards for ALL

If it is not possible by the way that I expected ... what is the nearest procedure to do that?

Hi,

That's not a dream at all! You can easily achieve that via performing journal files; by using them, you can automate the procedures. (refer to manual for further details).

Bests,

Dear Mamdouh,

There are 2 procedures to produce a journal file; let the FLUENT write it with its special notations or to use text user interface; in each method, you have to consider journal codes for at least on case then with little programming you can generate your desire journal file.

Bests,
