Discussion: Solution steering in Fluent
 

Hi all,
I have done a rough search within this forum and didn't find much information of the solution steering in Fluent. Any experience?

A common thing we all want to do is to automatically adjust the URFs, Courant Numbers, etc., to ensure fast convergence. I only found "solution steering", and anyone who knows alternative ways would also be great.

Another question is, is it possible to use UDFs to define a program to realise solution steering? Something similar as:
IF not converged
lower Courant number
ELSE
stop calculation
END
