Hi all,
Does anybody happen to know how can one set the number of time steps in the transient study in Fluent as a parameter in parameter set provided by Ansys CFX? There is no "p" located beside the number of time steps! Cheers, Saba |

Didn't understand?
In transient you can set number of timesteps, timestep size by constant of variable using a UDF. |

I am supposed to do a parameter study where the number of time steps is the only parameter which is being changed by the user in each case (suppose i need to run 3 cases where the number of time steps is increased by a factor of 10 in each case, i.e. it starts with 10 and ends with 1000). Although it is possible to change some parameters like the "number of grids" and the "time-step" via the parameter set without changing the whole case in Ansys, but it is not possible to set number of time-steps as a parameter in parameter set since there is no "p" beside that! |
