Checking mass loss -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

In a 2D/3D transient VOF fluent simulation of a falling mercury drop inside a water pool, I want to calculate the mass of the mercury drop at different time instances to check if there is any mass loss. I tried to calculate volume integral of density of a mercury which finally gives mass, it doesn't show any loss in mass. Is it the correct way to check it? Thanks in advance! Sachin
