Turbulence in pseudoplastic liquids
I am working on mixing in pseudoplastic liquids. I find in literature usually an average viscosity is applied in order to make the turbulence models (based on isotropic turbulence) work. Though, that doesn't sound right to me, is there any proper method available to deal with turbulence in pseudoplastic liquids?
I know that it is possible to overcome this by the TUI command:
'define/models/viscous/turbulence-expert/turb-non-newtonian' though I wonder whether this gives proper results.
Anyone an idea?
