Hello,

I have an udf for the reaction rate and since the udf uses the materials it is required that we should define the materials also in the same order. But to define materials it is required that we select the species transport option and once we select that option, air mixture gets selected by default and this leads to a number of extra species and I am not able to figure out how to get rid of these species and how to define species in the same order as that used in the udf.

I hope i am clear in asking the doubt.

Thanking you,
V.Vismayie

You should inlet it in the mixture material by the numbered in your UDF.
I have done that before.

Dear Saeed,
I am sorry to say this but I haven't understood whatever you said.
My problem actually is that the default air mixture is there in the materials panel and i dont know how to get rid of it.

We should select species transport option before we define materials rite . so when i do that air which is the default gets selected.
Could you please suggest me a way out

I really don't know how to explain it
Enter species in the mixture panel. Species ID starts from zero. the first one is zero. Check if the last one be N2.
