hi,
I am new to ansys fluent, I am analyzing fluid flow (single phase) and heat transfer in microchannel, for that i have to use slip boundary condition, in ansys fluent we need to specify wall shear stress for this, but i dont know how to do this. does anybody have any experience for this or any tutorial for this
please help

add it as wall boundary condition. Choose edit option, specify shear stress=0.

For single phase laminar flows in the slip flow regime, the "Slip Boundary Formulation for Low-Pressure Gas System" is what you need.

Hi All,

I am using flow around cylinder, the shear stresses at the wall need to be specified to constant value. In this option, there are 3 components for the shear stresses, i.e. x direction components and so on.

Does anyone know for example how can set these values for cylinder surface
Regard.
