Solution Initialization

Hi,

I'm a new user of Fluent... In a steady simulation should the solution be independent of the initial conditions? I mean... depending on the solution initialization parameters a get different results... is that bad?

Regards.

Bad initialization should result in longer convergence periods, but the results shouldn't be too different for different initializations, provided the boundary conditions and other settings remain the same.

In most cases this means that the solution simply in not converged.
