i am working on combustion problem with cfd using lameiner finite rate and i am wondaring what is the units of arrhenius pre-exponent factor. in the fleuent help they mentioned it is consistant units but i can not understand

plz help , also does the units changed with reaction order in case it is second order or thired order

thank alot

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arrhenius_equation

"The units of the pre-exponential factor are identical to those of the rate constant and will vary depending on the order of the reaction."

dear macfly thanks for ur response, i want to know the units of pre-exponent factor used in fluent for second and third order is it m3/mole or m3/kgmole

if u have example plz help and my email is hossam_ali_71@yahoo.com

fluent help just mentioeb it is consistant units and i understand this but should i put it in m3/mole or m3/kgmole

u can see the window of fluent in the next link

Maybe you can just initialize a simulation, plot the pre-exp factor somehow and check the units.
