Temperature shooting up to unrealistic values!

I am solving a transient natural convection problem. I have a 2D domain, with with my lower wall heated at a defined heat flux (nearly 10000 W/m2) and my upper wall acting as an outlet (heat sink, maybe). The sidewalls are symmetric walls (but can be pressure outlet/inlet, doesn't matter a lot).
The issue: Temperature at the lower wall (where heat flux b.c is imposed) shoots up to 700 K, which should realistically not happen. I am aware that the heat in this "enclosed" system needs to go out, but how should I go about doing this? Does anybody have any experience with such problems before? Any kind of help is appreciated.
