Heating Due to friction
I have a tool rotating and translating in a highly viscous non Newtonian fluid. Due to the effect of friction heat is generated. I know the friction coefficient and the terms for heat flux and heat generation at the tool walls and i want to simulate the problem to get velocity and temperature fields. But just by giving these boundary conditions I am not getting my desired results. Is it because I need to add source terms to my energy/momentum equations ??
