hi,

how to define a new materials with temperature dependent properties into FLUENT ?

I need to define a materials with different temperature- enthalpy values...

Do you mean, standard state enthalpy should change as a function of temperature?

scroll down in material properties, use polynomial for CP, and enter the coefficient in function of temperature...

I mean, the below relation should be mentioned for the transient analysis for instance:

temperatures 0 10 20 30 40 50

enthalpies 0 1e8 2e8 4e8 5e8 6e8

ok, the way i will do it, plot a graph in excel, extract the equation of the curve.
put the coefficient in fluent.

If Mr. bulmer has something better, please...
