I'm solving blood flow in Ansys 14.5 Fluent in batch mode. In Fluent I fix the maximum number of iterations but while running different cases in batch mode I can't figure out if my solution converged or just the number of iterations exceeded the maximum number of iterations.
Does anybody knows how can I set this number as output parameter in Ansys Workbench?

Thank you!

Do you mean, you want to just see the progress of the FLUENT iterations? There is a setting in options to enable the monitoring of FLUENT residuals. Once enable, residuals of any FLUENT simulation running in Workbench can be seen by right click on it.

OJ, can I see them after the calculation fro one design point is finished and another design point is calculated? I want to be able to review the number of iterations for each point after calculation for all of the points is finished.

To be honest, I don't often run the FLUENT in batch mode. Why don't you give a shot to it as I suggested and update here if it worked for you?

There is an option in workbench called 'parameter'. I know that you could study the effect of geometry (e.g. effect of length or diameter of a pipe on the flow) or flow model parameters (e.g. effect of inlet pressure or velocity) without actually setting up multiple cases with different parameters. But I am not sure if it will work for convergence criteria.

I think you need to select your own criteria to decide if the solution has converged and try to parameterize that.
