Hi, I am a newbie at Fluent and Ansys, and I have an issue with the Volume of Fluid multiphase model. I am trying to run a steady state simulation with a cavity initially filled with air, and water will fill the cavity from a pressure inlet. My issue is that under Cell Zone Conditions, when I select the fluid zone and press edit, the multiphase tab says "This page is not applicable under current settings". It says this no matter what phase I switch the zone to. I tried setting the phase to mixture, phase 1, and phase 2, and I still get the "This page is not applicable under current settings" message. I also get this message when I try to set the volume fraction on my pressure inlet. The models I am using are laminar, volume of fluid, with gravity. What could be causing this error? This is probably a newbie mistake, but I would really like to figure out why I cannot set the initial volume fraction. I am using the pressure based solver, steady state. Thank you for your time.

Have you tried Eulerian instead of VOF?
