Hi Everyone, when i am running natural converging heat transfer, residuals are converging smoothly but with a message that "reverse flow at in/out", is that a problem with solution or its not going to do anything with solution. Thanks

I think you have recheck your boundary conditions.
How far is your outlet? May be you have to increase that distance too!!!

Best of luck!!!

Hey Aqib,

Thanks for your reply, i have a very simple setup of two parallel vertical plates (2D), I should make an imaginary outlet and a real one so that i could simulate my real dimensions and could avoid this message, is it what u r suggesting?

I don't know what you are trying to say about imaginary outlet!
What boundary conditions you are using?
How the flow physics of your case is behaving?

Chishty

I have pressure inlet/outlet BC. my geometry is 12.5cm long straight channel. residuals are smoothly converging.

What about the flow pictures?
Anything reversal flow in the domain?
