pressure jump coefficient
can anyone tel me how to calculate face permeability?KL that i found is 10, and i gt C2 value.since i know the density and velocity before enter the porous media, so i can calculate the pressure drop.
by using Darcy law,http://cdlab2.fluid.tuwien.ac.at/LEH...ug/img1269.gif i try to calculate face permeability.but what i get is negative value. is that possible? |
You should show us how you obtained the face permeability. The face permeability given by Darcy's law, which is the permeability divided by the cross-section area, should be positive.
