skewness correction

hello my friend.
I want to solve one complex geometry that has many curves.when i use SIMPLEC Method one factor (Skewness correction) appear under the SIMPLEC method in ANSYS Fluents method.
How i must adjust this factor? i dont know which number must be set?1< or 1 , 2, 3,
please help me

I have the same problem, donīt know how to set the "skewness correction" under "pressure-velocity coupling" for SIMPLEC method. Fluent documentation and user manual is not clear, there are no tips of how to set this number, and neither which number suits each simulation.

My simulation is a steady-state simulation, with high degree of skewness, involving turbulence. Itīs a rounded shape inside a wind tunnel test section, for a given reynolds number of 2*10^5.

Thanks in advance

u can do: grid>smooth/swap
do smooth first then hit swap till u see number of faces swapped: 0
u can set minimum skewness as u wish (it depends on which type of mesh u ve used)
u can also convert tetrahedral mesh into poly hedra mesh which will save ur time for complex geometries
good luck
