Hi All,

I looking to define a profile in fluent for the first time. I would like to define a heat transfer coefficient (HTC) and free stream temperature profile on an external wall boundary (I am presuming I can do this?).

Can anyone point me to were I can find an example of such a profile? The fluent manual gives an example of a turb-prof (7.6.2) which gives me a format but what syntax do I use to indicate the HTC and temperature properties?

Also if I wish to define a face with a 1D HTC profile do I simple plot on a single axis and the code will project it across the other(s)?

Any help would be gratefully received.

Cheers to all,
Ian
