hi. I'm a newbie in fluent. so please help me.
this is airflow characteristics: Re=100, Pr=0.71 I have to vary Richardson number and AR (cavity wall ratio) and in post process display isotherms and streamlines. finally I have to compare them with a published paper and validate my simulation. I write this numbers in the materials menu: density=1.2332 , viscosity=2.4664e-3 , expansion coefficient= 3.3e-3. inlet velocity is 1 m/s too and my channel height is 0.2 m. so Re=100. but i have problem in isotherms. there is no similarity between my contours and paper. if I change viscosity to 2.4664e-5 and channel height to 0.002, my isotherm problem is fixed but my streamlines cause a problem and streamlines amount is fewer than their number in published paper. what's wrong? this is my validation paper and case file in fluent. your link |
