Hi everyone,

I am new to Ansys fluent. I have a question about the Transient flow simulation in fluent, how can I compute the average Cd(drag coefficient) in transient flow? Because in Report->Force it use last Cd to calculate the pressure force not the average Cd value.

I am using SST k-omega with PISO

Thank you

For this you have to monitor the drag data for all the time steps (after initial transients) and get the transient data statistics.

Thanks for reply Far, you mean get the transient data statistics by surface integration? I still dont understand how to monitor the drag data?
