Structured vs Unstructured for FLUENT

Good Night

I'm meshing some 2D geometries for college in ICEM and in the end of the process I have to convert the mesh to unstructured mesh and them export it to FLUENT.

I'm simulating viscous flow with K-e.

Recently, I asked myself How can I justify the time spent doing one Structured mesh for Fluent ? Would the reliability of the solution be affected by the change in mesh element geometry when an unstructured solver is being used ?

Thank you !
