Dear All

let's say i launched a simulation and i stopped it at t=10 seconds, and i want to restart the simulation for example not from 0 but from t=5 seconds, is there a way to do this in FSI ansys fluent?

Using System Coupling? If you set Intermediate Restart Data Output in System Coupling then yes, otherwise no.

yes using system coupling, i use intermediate restart data output, but when i restart from a previous time step, it says an error that Fluent input time is different from system coupling

There's a workflow in the documentation to follow if you are not just continuing. You'll need to open the Fluent Solution cell then use File > Solution Files to pick the correct time point. In Mechanical and System Coupling you'll also need to manually pick the correct restart points. If everybody is using the same time point it should restart.
