Hi all,

When adding thickness to a wall in the boundary conditions, in which direction is the "thickness" added to a boundary?

I have two flows seperated by a wall which I wish to add thickness to. However I need to know in which direction the wall thickness is added in order for me to calculate the correct hydraulic diameter.

Any help is much appreacited.

The thickness does not affect the hydraulic diameter.
It only affects the conductive heat transfer properties of the wall.
