Hi all

I would like to know if users of Fluent know of any issues that can be incurred in general single-phase CFD flow problems when a polyhedral mesh is used that has a rather rapid growth. The growth of cells increases by an order of magnitude in size from the area of interest to the downstream region of concern and I would like to know if possible overproduction of turbulence could occur due some numerical issue underlying in the code or of any other issues that are associated with rapid cell growth rates. Thanks in advance. (as a side note I am currently using the RNG k-epsilon turbulence model)

Regards
