To get the temperature history of one point,which report type to choose?
 

In a transient heat conduction problem, i want to get the temperature history of one point on the boundary,like A or B in the following pic, so i define a point in the SURFACE menu, but which report type should i choose? vertex average or facet average and what are the meanings of these two methods for a point?

did u ever find out the answer to this?
I'm wondering aswell is it possible to use a "point" surface monitor to monitor the temperatue. And then which report type should be used?
