Effect of gas dissolution and temperature gradients

Hi all,

I'm working on a project about deep ocean gas blowouts, down to about 1000 meters. My model is working fine, but now I want to include the effect of gas dissolution to the water phase(effect of mass transfer). I'm using using the DPM model to inject inert particles (bubbles) with the same density as pure methane (approx. to natural gas). I'm hoping you guys can give me some tips :)

I believe I need to define an UDF for this case, using the macro DEFINE_DPM_SOURCE() or DEFINE_DPM_HEAT_MASS()? Or is it possible to use the "SPECIES MODEL" to get the effect of gas dissolution in water?

Since the solubility varies with pressure, temperature and salinity of the sea I need to include temperature gradients for the ocean. Any tips for how this can be done?

Appreciate all kind of respons!
Best regards, mBakli
