VOF reflection from outlet boundary

Hi,

I am performing a basic VOF open channel simulation in which water is flowing around a structure. My model seems to be working correctly but I am having trouble reaching a steady state condition in terms of the velocity. The velocity seems to be oscillating over time at my test point and I think this is due to a wave reflecting from the outlet boundary. Is there a way of using non-reflecting boundaries with the VOF open channel model? Is there possible another way of avoiding these oscillations of velocity and attain steady state quicker? Any tips would be appreciated, thanks.

extend your computational domain to which makes the outlet is far away from your test point, it can avoid this oscillation around outlet to influence the domain that you care.

I will try that, thanks for the tip!
