using functions within parameters?

Hello everyone!

A single Cell Zone of my mesh is going to be a porous zone. In CFX, there was only a single input parameter for this, the "Loss coefficient". For my case I am fairly sure that this is actually the inertial resistance, due to its units.

I was wondering if it is possible, using an input parameter, to have a variable inertial resistance, using values from the iterations, such as the velocity at that point. Would I use a UDF? And in that case, which macro should I use?

Thanks for the help!
