MichaelVS is on a distinguished road
Dear Colleagues,

I would be extremely grateful if you give me some pieces of advice concerning the following issue.
I simulate the behaviour of molten metal during the process of welding.
All previous simulations like the one I have to do were performed with VOF model, so I chose ANSYS fluent for my project as it also has capabilities for simulation of solidification/melting with VOF.
Well, so far the simplified model works, metal is melted, flows, then it is solidified and that's OK. I did it by using simple wall boundary conditions for temperature (I heated the metal-domain from one side).
The problem is that I need to set up boundary conditions (thermal, pressure) for the free surface of welding pool (between two phases: air and liquid/solid metal).
How could this be performed?
I am looking forward to your reply, thanks in advance!
