Inviscid Boundary Layer Problem

How do you implement a UDF, user-defined function, for the following boundary layer equation: U/U1 = (y/delta)^(1/7) ? Where U1 and delta are known?
Would it be valid to implement this equation in the velocity-inlet boundary condition?
