Hi guys,
I am performing a two phase solid-liquid simulation in a stirred tank. I notice that my solid volume fraction is not conserved, I am printing the total volume of my solids and it is continuously decreasing. Can anyone tell me what might be going on here. I am using Eulerian Model with mixture turbulence model. The initial volume fraction is 0.09 and it was patched using a register to lower part of the tank. The particle size is 200 microns and density is 2500 kg/m3. Thanks, Manjunath |
