burak_ekmekci is on a distinguished road
hi all,

ı am trying to modelling o multiphase body which consists of two parts (sediment and water column).. 30 meters is depth of open channel and depth of bed load sediment is 0.5 meter at the bottom. at the and of the column there is a withdraw system to supply water to city.. and question is that when ı run this model water moves but sediment doesnt move and has no velocity. there is a connection problem at interface of sediment and water body... Also what is the effect of volume fraction for this kind of model ?

also the other question is that how can ı withdraw water from outlet .. for ex the flow direction is towards to +z direction, can ı define a mass flow inlet at withdraw structure to withdraw water?

thnx..
