2D flow over airfoil S814 -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Nkl Member Nikola Join Date: Sep 2013 Location: Madrid, Spain Posts: 60 Rep Power: 12	Hi everyone! I am performing a 2D simulation over S814 airfoil with both SST and K-epsilon model. I get good results for what regards lift coefficient, momentum coefficient, pressure coefficient and yplus values, but my drag coefficient is not so close to the experimental value. Does someone know why? simulation experimental lift coefficient 0.39 0.38 drag coefficient 0.016 0.007 momentum coefficient -0.15 -0.14 yplus is below 150 with both models
