I would like to know the significance of partially premixed combustion simulation where no burning occurs? Does it signify the conditions are not favourable for combustion experimentally as well? Or is it some settings problem?

I had a mesh where burning occurs, but when I refined the mesh, no burning takes place. All settings are exactly the same.

Thanks.

Try to interpolate your coarse mesh results with refined mesh and check it once.

Can elaborate what do you mean by "interpolate coarse mesh results"?

Basically there is burning for the coarse mesh, and no burning for the fine mesh.

"interpolate coarse mesh results"
Use the results you got with the coarse as an initial data for the refine mesh, and continue calculation on refined mesh, see what's going to happen.
You can do that using the file -» interpolate data

The solution diverged after a few steps when I interpolate the coarse mesh data to the fine mesh.

What is the significance if there is no burning?

Do people use partially-premixed combustion to determine if combustion is feasible?
