Hello

Has anyone used the curvature correction term available in the k-omega turbulence model in fluent? And what does it do?

Thanks

It suppresses or enhances turbulence based on the flow curvature. Results are then closer to a Reynolds Stress based turbulence model (which naturally accounts for curvature effects).

But does it make sense to always click on the curvature correction? Will it bring any theorectical inaccuracies if the curvature is not that strong? How much will it increase the computational cost?
