Forced Convection: 2D fan (forced air flow source)
Dear all,
I am solving a 2D axisymmetry problem. I am considering a closed surface (an enclosure with prescribed temperature) with several heat sources inside and a small air flow source. The air flow source should stand for a fan blowing air axially (maybe I will impose a certain angle but not now). I know the problem is not axisymmetric since the fan source is not along the problem axis, but for me is ok. Up to now my fan is basically a rectangle with: .fan sides = walls with 0 heat flux .fan outake = mass flow inlet (I am considering mass instead of velocity or pressure jump) .fan intake = pressure outlet (to leave the flow be sucked feely as a fan intake) This problem can be run with transient solver but, neither steady state nor pseudo transient work, AMG divergence.. please, could anybody help me? |
