Dear friends,

I'm doing a transient simulation of the cooling in a clutch. I chose a time step of 0,001s and stablished the max Iterations/time step = 30

Residuals decreased in each time steps iterations to 1e-4 so I considered it was working OK. The problem is that the time step is very small so I need a lot of time to carry out the complete simulation.

I have tried increasing the time step to 0.01s and max Iterations/time step=70. Even if each time steps takes longer 10 times less time steps are needed so it will finish quicker.

I wanted to ask if it is correct to do this as long as the residuals in each time step decrease to the same point (1e-4)

Thanks in advance
