maheshbabu is on a distinguished road
Hi,
When I run my simulation in ANSYS 14.0,Its saying "Divergence detected in AMG solver : epsilion".I have a 2d rectangular duct in which air is moving with a velocity of 8 m/s.I have created geometry and meshed in ICEM with following mesh quality results
determinant 2x2 = 0.998 , equiangle skewness = 0.7 and min orthogonal quality close to 0. I am using a k epsilion RNG as turbulence model. There is no radiation involved.Below are conditions involved
1. top heat wall = 1000 W/m^2
2. bottom wall = adiabatic wall
3. velocity inlet = 8 m^2/s
4. pressure outlet
I am using SIMPLE algorithm, standard for pressure and second order upwind for all other's. I have also tried using presto for pressure but still its saying divergence detected in AMG solver : epsilion .
I would be really grateful if you can help me out to make my case converge
Thank you very much,
Mahesh
