Hi every one, i am try to simulate the effect of wind catcher on thermal behavior of house in arid region. system is composed of macro climat (outside environment composed of air) and micro climat which is house+tower. I use LES in fluent 6, i have 2 problems: first pression distribution around house+tower (it must be positiv on wind ward and negatif on lee ward) to ensure air circulation or sucction force. second i have change in tower temperature wich rase from tower inlet (300K) until tower outlet (309K), but i dont have any changes in house temperature (310K).(wall are smooth becuase LES does'nt treat wall roughness even reaserch use LES and have pressure differences between lee and wind ward) and wall are adiabatic (so where the rise in T come from ?????). my BC are:
macro inlet: velocity.
macro outlet: pressure outlet 1atm.
tower inlet: velocity inlet
tower outlet: pressure outlet.
house window: pressure outlet.
i have initilize my calculations with: X velocity 3m/s and 300 K. and i start calculation form all region, and then i try with macro inlet and the same 2 problems appears. remarque: i try several model k-3, DES, spallart allmaras, but only LES give convergence with 220 iters with i3 process 4 GB memory.
