Hey everyone!

I have a question concerning the modelling capabilities of Fluent concerning corrosion. I have not found much for material concerning this area but it seems like a pretty important topic.

We are looking to see how a pipe/tube corrodes with different fluids (i.e. acids) at a variety of different temperatures. Does anyone have any experience with this? If Fluent cannot do this, are their any other CFD programs that have this capability?

I was thinking that these types of simulations require coupling with an FEA model but perhaps I am just over complicating matters.

Thanks!
