How to model or/and increase entrance loss in perforated pipe ?

Hello everyone,

I am modelling a perforated pipe surrounded by aggregate. When I measure the pressure head at the bottom of pipe, I got higher value than that of experimental value. I tried with various hydraulic conductivity thinking that I am not modeling the loss in aggregate properly. But I found that sensitivity of K is not that much.

So I am assuming that I may not model properly the entrance loss. Because when pipe is full flowing only that time I got this difference. When pipe is not full flowing, I got very good result.

I hope someone can give any insight about it.

Regards,
Tanjina
