I was going through solver theory given in Ansys theory guide. In that it is given that QUICK scheme uses weighted average of second order upwind and central interpolations of the variable for evaluating higher order value of the convected variable at a face.
On the other hand 3rd order MUSCL uses weighted average of second order upwind and central differencing schemes.
So basically what is the difference between central interpolations and central differencing ? In other words what is the difference between QUICK and 3rd order MUSCL schemes ?
