Forces & moments in 6DOF UDF

i am trying to simulate the turning of a vessel by the action of thrust force in 6DOF motion.
i want to ask that only moment would be enough in the UDF for simulation or i have to apply the force also in addition to moment?

secondly, if i give the force in UDF, where it will be applied? as far as i know fluent applies all the given forces in UDF upon C.G. Is it so?

Kindly help me in this regard. your answers/suggestions are awaited.
