I am simulating fluid flow problem in fluent. I am repeating a case from literature. In literature they are using free boundary condition in the outlet. What does it mean?

The article which you given does not describe about free boundary condition.
Actually, in my fluid flow problem I know inlet velocity only. I don't know about pressure.
In literature, in order to close the boundary they are using free boundary condition at the outlet and simulating uisng FEM. I am try to repeat the case on Fluent(FVM). Which boundary condition option well suitable for this case in fluent?

I also attach free boundary condition literature
