Solid spherical bubbles in fluid

Hello every one!
I have a small problem with big bubbles. I want to prepare a multiphase simulation in fluent where I have 20 spherical solid (glass) "bubble type" bodies with diameter of 2mm, which are placed in a tank filled with water. Tank diameter is about 15mm. Those bubbles are moved by the fluid stream coming with a pipe from side. I Have an existing real part and I know how the bubbles will move. I first made an analysis of flow in that cylinder, and the flow pattern corresponds to the real one. But in this simulation the behavior of those bubbles is the point of interest, and they have the ability to collide witch each other. All multiphase tutorials/documentation which I found showed simulation of very small particles - fluid multiphase flows. (something more like sand - water). Where should I search for clues, because unfortunately I don't know where to start? I would appreciate for every suggestion/key words where should I search for the answer? Best Regards. |
